(a.k.a. Your Brain on Chill vs Chaos)
Mindful-Present, Peaceful, Slightly Glowing
You’re here. Like actually here. Not spiraling about that thing you said in 2014 or pre-stressing about tomorrow. You’re focused, grounded, maybe even romantically sipping your tea like the main character you are.
Mind Full- Overstimulated, Tabs Open, Vibes Off
Your brain has 47 tabs open, one is playing music, and you don’t know which one. It’s giving anxiety, overthinking, and “I should be productive” but absolutely not being productive.
How to Go From Mind Full → Mindful
1. Catch Yourself in the Chaos
Notice the spiral. No judgment, no drama. Just: “oh… my brain is doing the most right now.”
2. Touch Grass (Literally or Emotionally)
Use your senses.
Name a few things you can see, hear, or feel. Congrats, you’ve re-entered reality.
3. Stop Multitasking Like a Maniac
Pick one thing. Just one.
Drink your coffee. Answer one email. Be a person, not a browser with 100 tabs open.
4. Breathe Like You Mean It
Slow it down. Inhale. Hold. Exhale.
You’re not being chased by a tiger — your nervous system just thinks you are.
